First, here's a photo of HHandbasket on her "cool-as-a-teenie-bopper-but-in-my-late-40s-having-a-midlife-crisis pink scooter" as she headed home Sunday.
Yes, I had to do that. Could NOT help it. Hehehehehehehehe.
Today was a busy day, with the fence started and the propane tank and piping work completed.
Here's D Fence Man, Dale. (He thinks it's funny the end of one of the words in the name of the street on which I live is "Dale.")
Working on one of the three drive gates.
One of the lodge poles and where it's going to be placed, for the front fence.
This is the view of where the front fence will be installed. Some of the lodge poles are already up.
The first propane guy arrived around 11:30 a.m., and before the day was over, there were THREE trucks in my driveway and three guys working on the project.
The propane tank - which I purchased, not leased - arriving on the truck.
Moving the tank into position.
Installation almost completed.
Piping under the house - the biggest guy was in the crawl space!
The tank in place!
Tomorrow, the inspector comes ("between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.") to review/inspect and hopefully approve the propane work. The oven range will be delivered Saturday, July 2, and the propane company will come back after the 5th to hook it up for me. (The "gas fireplace" was hooked up before they left.... like I need it this time of year, right? Ah well... it's all part of my getting the house ready process.)
One of the guys commented on this sticker on one of the windows of my car. I told him it's the absolute truth.
My Travelocity Gnome is very happy on the property.
