Oh, you have GOT to be kidding me! Talk about a sore freaking loser!

You ought to make a call or two of your own to the station and inform THEM that he filed the complaint against you BEFORE you even brought any chickens to the house, based only on rumors he'd heard that you had chickens. Turn it around and put it back on him. Maybe mention to the TV station that if he continues his smear campaign, you might have to seek legal representation of your own because what he is doing amounts to harrassment and defamation of character now that he's calling TV stations. He has stepped over the line.

I don't think he wants you and your your "well-connected real estate agent" being proactive in stopping his continued harrassment by taking legal action against him in court.

If I get these photos up within nine minutes, I could say these were taken earlier today. Somehow, I don't think I'll make that deadline, so here are some photos I took yesterday.

HHandbasket and Farmer Lew visited me around noon and whilst HH and I were catching up and talking girl talk, FL stayed outside to do his Chicken Whisperer thing. He is able to pick up and hold just about ANY chicken, talking to them and communing with them while each relaxes in his arms. I asked him if he wanted to give them their treats and he agreed, so I gave him the bag o' shredded cheese to do the honors. (I didn't get my phone/camera out until the Treat Time started, sorry.)

A closer shot, while he decided who next to offer a handful of cheese.

Brenda, the light Brahma, is the pushiest. Notice she was directly in front of him in the above photo. Well, that's her leaning over to snatch more cheese from his hand.

This is the ice sheet from the 40 gallon tub. Picture was taken around 2 p.m. That ice was much thicker at 10 a.m., and had evidence of at least one chicken standing on it!

Not only is there a nice door in the front, but the entire top opens up. He found that fascinating.
