returning hen with chicks to flock question

At what age do you put a hen and her chicks back with the rest of the flock?

i asked this question yesterday and was advised about 2 weeks since the mum is established in her motherhood, the babies are stronger but there is still plenty of time for mum to teach them to survive in the flock and for the flock to accept them.
