Tuscola Clucks
In the Brooder
Hi y'all! So I'm not quite new here or to chicken farming, but it has been so long since I was last on, I forgot my username and it looks like my account was purged. It's all good, though, as we moved from California to Texas almost two years ago and have not had a flock since around 2013. We're back at it and the best part is here in Texas we don't have a homeowner's association and anti-chicken city ordinances to contend with. No more underground chicken farming!
We're adopting a flock from some neighbors who lost their house in a fire. We've been caring for the birds since September and decided we might as well just bring 'em home. I'm in the process of constructing a new coop (I'll post pictures when I have something to photograph) and should be up and running in a couple weeks.
We are looking forward to having chickens again and I wouldn't think of having birds without being a part of BackYardChickens!
Cheers,
Aaron
