Returning Member!! So Excited!!

Hey there! So we used to have chickens, ducks, turkeys, and guinea fowl several years ago, but then my kids and I moved to a new area and have been renting for the past 3 years.

Well, we just bought a house with a nice, big (for this area anyway) yard and I (and the kids, of course) am super excited to be able to get chickens again!! I think the township ordinance puts a limit of 5 or 6 hens!

Anyway, I am excited to research the kind of set-up that would be best for us and get back into the swing of things! I will take any advice or recommendations you all have!!

Me Too! I bough a house with yard a few years ago and FINALLY got baby chicks a few weeks ago. My city allows 1 "domestic" pet per 1000 SQF of lot. Since I have 3 cats I'm allowed 4 more "domestic pets" so I have 4 baby chicks now! So much fun!
