Our guineas hatched out 9 keets almost three weeks ago. We took the keets off the parents two days after they hatched and
put them in a brooder. Mom and dad were beside themselves the entire day after we took the keets away, so we put one keet with them and they’ve been great parents. We are rehoming all but one of the other keets and I’m wondering if anyone knows at what age it would be appropriate to reintroduce the other keet back to mom and dad and sibling. We tried last night and dad didn’t seem real thrilled with the additional baby and the brooder baby couldn’t keep up with the rest of the family in the enclosure so i’m not sure how it will do free ranging at three weeks.
