Yeah I have no idea either. We must have an auxiliary system because our emergency heat is working, thankfully. We definitely need to build a little shelter for our unit outside also. Yet another project to add to the never-ending list of projects. lolI read it shuts down the outside HVAC and uses the auxiliary system, which I’m not even sure we have. And much less energy efficient so just for emergencies. We’ve decided we’re going to get something like a piece of plexiglass and put brick supports under it and more on top to hold it in place to use as a temporary rain cover during ice/snow storms.
