"Reverse" Light Sussex...can it be done?

Does anyone else think that a "reverse" light sussex would be stunning?

What I mean is a bird with a black body and white markings on the neck and tail. I wonder if anyone is trying to develop this color pattern?

That would be awesome. You could maybe try breeding a Black Roo to a Light Sussex Hen then breed those to a silver penciled bird like a Dark Brahma ? Maybe?

I'VE GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Get two poor quality Birchen birds that have white tails. The offspring will be black with a white neck and tail.


The problem is finding birds like this.

Exactly. That one looks like a Black Sex Link With white.
