Oh, he's def a cross!
A neighbor was given some chickens of mixed and questionable heritage, and we got some of their resultant chicks, and he's one.
Tomorrow I hope to post a new thread with "Chief" & his pic . . .
Got a little late on me here tonight. We had a home inspection & I'm writing up the report now.


On another note, I started gathering eggs for hatching, but we've had so many below 0 days that I can't get them all when they're still warm enough. I'll give that project another week or so, & try again . . .

He kinda looks like Jabs. He is part Buff Orp/Red Sex Link. His brother (given away) had black tail feathers and more yellowish legs. He is my first chicken hatched as a trial run on the incubator.
