My Rosie is a year and 1/2 old, sits all day, since Monday, I confined her to bottom of coop with electrolytes in water. She did move at one point across the coop. Gave her calcium and Vit E in some yogurt; Thought she was egg bound, missed laying on Monday, Tues gave an egg, it looked lighter in color, and felt porous. Today’s egg looked normal. I put her out in secure crated area for some Vit D, from sun… normal, if not, larger stool… her wings flap, so not broken and feet look fine.
Gave her oatmeal and raisins Thurs/Fri and Few pieces of cantaloupe
I tried to make a video, still shots I was tossing grass, she was eating it.
Gave her some peas today, made a mush with oatmeal, electrolytes and her feed
Her toes are curled under.. I pull her leg out gently, she retracts them.., I just purchased attached supplements not sure about the magnesium for chickens, but they are good for human muscles
Anyone have any other ideas? I was going to go to farm store for antibiotics …
