Rhode island red aggression?

So i'm going to try to hatch out some bantams and rir and i just checked the RiR breed on the breeds tab and i red some horror story's about fearsome aggression issues i had planed my walk in coop to house both the bantams and the Rir's together but i don't want to house them together and come in one morning to find my bantams bald, bloody or dead. Is there any truth to the story's?

I heard that their friendly and never heard anything about them killing other chickens.

yeah i would just like to cover my bases if i need to make a separate coop for the bantams i need to know sooner rather then later
