rhode island red chick colors

can some one help me out with this as im a novice at raising chicks, we bought 11 RIR chicks from a local farm and they are 3 different colors from 4 dark brown ,5 tan , and 2 yellowish. is it normal to have 3 different color RIR's or did we get 3 different kinds of birds or not real RIR's ?

I think you may have three differant types. They should all look about the same.

If you were getting them for laying, crossed reds are also great. Everyone of my current layers is a cross with RIR. May turn out quite well.

only the darker red/brown ones are reds, sorry. they're all cute though!

I am not a pro, but I think I see some EE in there. A couple have some puffy cheeks.
