Usually by 6 weeks you can get a pretty good guess, 12 weeks is when gender specific feathering comes in, and 5-6 months is when they crow or lay an egg.Well, I will still post a new pic every week but, by week 3 maybe you can tell. If males and females grow at different speeds I can keep comparing With another chick.
Oh. I heard males have smaller wings. Also that a male has all long Feathers on the wings and females have long, short, long, short feathers.Nope, untrue.
