Hopefully someone can help me, I have 6 alleged pullets of RIRs. One of the six has a much larger comb than the others. Is there any way to check anything to determine if he's a rooster? I purchased them all for their great egg laying property. I don't have any pics, currently.

The odds are great that a large combs and wattle formation under the beak at that age, the bird is a cockerel. This is typical of males of single combed breeds. The pullets do not normally show much of anything by way of combs or wattles until 12 weeks or even later.

Early display of combs and wattles is a very sure sign of a cockerel.
