Rhode Island Red egg size

Hi, I have looked on 3 different sites. One says their egg size is medium, one large and the other extra large. I hatched some for my neighbor and he said I could keep one but I only like large egg layers for baking. Help! Thank you!

Guess it may depend on whether they are heritage or commercial RIRs, as well as the individual bird. I'd be inclined to choose the largest pullet chick.

I got the eggs from Meyer Hatchery and it says large eggs, so I guess I will assume that their type is large layer. Thanks!!
