Rhode Island Red Gender, hoping for the BEST

saying good bye to my sweet Ruby this week, last couple weeks he has been learning his voice and become a little more aggressive towards the other two ladies. kind of sad but it is for the best! Damn you Ruby

Found a home for the big homie ruby, bittersweet but the other girls are getting annoyed he getting aggressive and learning his voice very quick. he will be missed much love to all those who chimed in on his orientation!! Time to find a female to replace him

I'm glad you found him a home. :thumbsup

bitter sweet, he was starting to learn his voice and is just overall a good looking bird good with the kids when they are out. going to a good home, so cannot be mad with that, hopefully t his will calm the ladies down and get them ready to start laying this summer!

well wondering if we may some health issues, but we had to get rid of our rooster over the weekend and it has been two nights and the two girls ruby left behind are not pooping much or at all. Seem to be eating and drinking? Any help? or diagnosis? Wondering if it is a stress thing since he is gone? Or that they are sick?

Thanks!

PS replaced ruby with a week old silkie!!
