Rhode Island red laying nothing but double yolk eggs is this normal?

Ever since four weeks ago when my Rhode Island red hen started laying, she has layed nothing but double yolk eggs is this normal?

Abnormal is normal for pullets. I would assume she has recently started laying. I get very few double yokers from hens that have been laying for a while. My pullets layed them on a very regular basis

We had a hen that laid a double yoke egg every day for her whole laying career.

That may be something for the record books I have never heard of that.
