When did your RIR start laying eggs? mine is about 19 weeks still no eggs... WHEN? im so anxious!

I had two RIR's in my mixed flock. The first to lay were my Black Sex Links, then the RIR's and then the Buff Orphingtons. I'd say mine were about 21-22 weeks before I got the first "dark brown" egg from one of them. They lay prolifically once they get started.

She looks pretty ready to lay to me! Should be anytime now. Does she do the egg squat for you?

not when i go near her no... I dont see her do it a lot but i see her inside the coop a lot and not in the run.

Mine were about 22 weeks.

Their combs and wattles were a bit darker than your girls, but every chicken is different.

I would say you should have some eggs within the next two to three weeks.
