Also, I know not the same breed but she was the same age as our Barred Rock (shown in one of the photos above) - which turned out to be a roo. Not positive but my guess on yours would be roo.

Yeah... yours looks like a pullet to me. Fairly certain mine is a roo

Some pics of Cherry's back. Hard to hold fidgety bird with one hand, part feathers, and take photos with other hand so forgive the nearly useless attempt! My pullets that feathered out almost as fast...neither has this many feathers emerging in saddle area. Almost none. I'm thinking these are the pointed saddle feathers coming in...
