Rhode island red question....

hi guys,
my RIR pullet (I hope) is 6 weeks old this saturday. Just this past week she started getting red in her comb (which is still pretty small) and small, barely there wattles. That doesn't mean she's a he does it? I can't post pics right now, this isn't my regular computer.

no!!!!! I'll be so sad! I see the adult hens have red combs and wattles!
Anyone else have/has had 6 week old reds?

I know you can't post a picture but do so when you can as that will help us.

It does sound like it may be a Roo though.

I have eight 6-wk old RIRs. Only the one cockerel has pink in his comb. All the pullets' combs are still yellow.

My pullets are 12 weeks old and just now getting red with very little combs.
