Here are some pics of mine. They are Black Stars from McMurray's hatchery. I don't know what Black Australorps look like so maybe the other poster is correct. It is hard to see in the pictures but the feathers are irridescent green in the sunlight, very pretty.

Ok....maybe that is it...black stars. If I can figure out how to post a picture I will put one on here of mine. Now, I know the tail feathers are different....lol.

Here is another photo. Mine are 18 weeks old now.

Laurie...that is it...just like a couple of mine. They are not quite that old...16-17 weeks. I also have four that I got the next week but they were really tiny....soft little brown chicks. They are really colored up different. But I have two of the black ones.

We have 29 all told. Bunches of roosters....will separate soon and fatten them up. All but a couple of them. I have been holding out on asking what sex they are because there were so many and I felt like eventually we would figure it out! Plus, we live in the country and hearing them crow is worth getting up in the morning for. They just started really crowing the last week or so.

If I can ever figure out how to upload I will post a couple of group shots!
