Hey everyone!
I need your option! My 2 rhode island reds are now 19 weeks and about 4 or 5 days old now. Are they going to start laying soon??!

Mine were 24 weeks before they started laying. Now an egg a day!

We were at a friends house yesterday. They have a RIR hen sitting a dozen eggs right now. Daddy is an Duckwing Old English Bantam Roo. They should be some interesting interesting looking chicks when they hatch out.

Is there a way to sex 11 week RIRs. I have two and one is certainly larger than the other, but not super upright and cockyish. No crowing yet either.

cockrels will have flashier feathers and the comb will be a brighter red than the pullets

One is just bigger than the other, not flashier.
