Rhode Island Red Thread!

i have four RIR hens but 2 weeks ago i got a RIR bantam rooster. He is so nice i dont breed my chickens but i wasnt really consirned about anything. He hasnt even crowed yet but i hope he stays the way he is and doesnt get mean or anything. He is a great lap chicken!

this is my RIR bantam rooster. When i got his feathers didnt look all that great but they are getting a lot better. This is a picture of the day i got him. He is only about 8 months old.

this just a head shot yoou can kind of see how his feather look greasy but they arent that bad now.YAY

I got my rhode islands in June as chicks, they just started laying. And they average about 2 eggs a day per chicken. Is that normal?

No and its impossible too. It takes on average 26hours under all the right circumstances for 1 egg to go through the reproductive tract of a female chicken.
