She is ridiculous. And probably the most amusing one to watch. She seems fine physically. She is actually the only one of the girls that flys. I used to have to climb up to the coop roof and get her… she can fly up, but she can’t fly down. She flys up the retaining wall but takes the stairs down, even though it’s two feet.
I tell that to myself often. If Toxie isn’t ruling the roost, the olive eggers are waiting to take over and they are crazier than fizzgig.
Could she have one less vertebrae but has like three random butt feathers? I saw some pics online of birds with that weird shape too.The thing about rumpless birds is they're missing the last vertebrae of their back...so no tail at all. There's really no in between. So she either has the rumpless gene or she doesn't (it's the latter). I'm guessing she'd got something else going on. But it doesn't sound like it's anything that's causing her harm.
