Rhode Island Red x Silver Laced Wyandotte

This is a supposed Rhode Island Red rooster over a Silver Laced Wyandotte hen. I heard these were sexed link... and from what I read this was supposedly a hen. It was a darker chipmunk chick rather than a lighter chick... but now I'm not sure...

Any input?

I'd say hen also...how strange that, that particular mix would make a gold laced looking bird lol!

Pullet. Its fascinating how she looks just like a Golden Laced Wyandotte! I would never have thought that an RIR crossed with a SLW would create that.

X2! I believe it is a GLW, and whoever you got it from just didn't know! It would be almost impossible to get those colors to make a GLW IMO!

I'm asking again right now. I got several eggs from him... So I haven't seen the parent stock. I'll fill you all in. Thanks for your opinions. I sure hope it is a pullet!
