They should be fine.I would slowly release them from it.Durimg day turn it off by afternoon turn it on,then back off during the day,do this for a week or five days then take off completely after this process,I do this seems to work great.Taking it off instantly can be a bit scary or worry the chicks a bit.Can they move away from it if they need to?

I have it raised quitea bit now. And it not directly pointing on them so they can be out from under it.

Ok that’s good but just try this process or you can just take off instantly depending on you.

I'm still new to this. Do you think I can take the heat lamp off these chicks?

yes you can i got some at 5 weeks and never gave them a heat lamp but if it gets in like 40's or below one night id put it on them for thay night

a month maybe, They are starting to lose fluff and grow feathers...
