I am getting my first chickens! Coop and play yard is ready. My question is this: Is there a way to tell hen from rooster when 15 wks old? The owner says can't tell. Thanks in advance!

by 15 weeks, you should be able to tell hen or rooster.

Look for a bigger and more red comb and wattles that are more developed.
By that time the Saddle feathers should be almost grown in and the hackle feathers should be more pointed. Also on the males a more shiny sheen to these feather groups can be seen
