Here are some shots of my 3 week old Rhode Island Reds. My mom is very attached to them as they respond to her voice and go to sleep in her hand. Can anybody tell if they are hens or roos? Any help will be appreciated, thanks

They look like pullets to me. Their combs look small and they have a lot of feathers. The males are usually slower at growing feathers but faster at growing combs. Definitely cuties.

Kinda early to tell. I think they are pullets too. Once one starts crowing then you will know for sure.

I AGREE LOOK ALOT LIKE PULLETS....THEY USUALLY ALWAYS GET BIG TAIL FEATHERS FIRST......I HAVE 50 WEEK OLDS NOW..AND THEY ARE GETTING THERE TAIL FEATHERS NOW....SPOSE TO BE ALL PULLETS:lol:
