Hi Im new to owning chickens!
I recently re-homed 3 hens from from a free range farm that was closing down, I was told that they probably wouldn't lay for the first 15 days due to the stress of moving but the first week they laid eggs every day and seemed quite happy, but for the last two weeks they haven't laid anything?? they are in an enclosed patch of grass (30m2) and have a basic coup (that they seem to prefer to use as a toilet!) they have a chicken feed specific for laying hens, are supplemented with oyster shells and the last few days i've been adding apple cider vinegar to the water.
any suggestions?
thanks in advance

That's kinda weird. I think you should post at "Chicken behaviors and egg laying." (In the Raising Backyard chickens forum).

:cd Hi! And welcome to BYC!

Moving is stressful on chickens, so just give them some more time to adjust. How old are they?

Give them time. It can take over a month for them to feel comfortable enough to start laying again, after a move. Yes, chickens poop a lot in the coop. At night they fill up their crops with food and it digests while they sleep, resulting in big piles of poop in the morning. It's very normal.
