Yes I see there are alot of red colored layers too choose from out there. Just what I was saying about their light color is not like any "production strain " RIReds I've seen hatcheries offer. What I've seen them call Production Reds, Cherry Eggers are usually a RIR type and New Hampshire cross and most are dark red in color and not so uniform in color. New Hampshires are a lighter more even shade of "chestnut" red. I bet whatever they turn out to be I'd say they're probably good layers fine looking girls. Sorry about the confusion. Maybe someone else has some like them and can show us what their's look like and what they're called.
