Greetings Chicken Folks !
I Am Out Here In Hawai`i -- Moloka`i Island ---
Yesterday And Today I Now Have Sixteen (16) New Chickens That Have Just Hatched.
One Problem That I Noticed On A Few Hatching Eggs, Is That The Egg Membrane Was Attached To Wing And Head, Whereby
The Newly Hatched Chick Was Unable To Free Itself From The Membrane That Was Literally Stuck Like Glue And Hardened Like Something Hard / Solid Like A Rock -- Binding The Head And Wing. Last Night I Honestly Thought That The One Chick Was Not Going To Survive. Seeing No Solution, I Decided To Place The Chick Under Warm Water To Soften The Membrane And Was Able To Free The Chick From The Glue-Like Bondage It Was Suffering -- I Am Not Exactly Sure Why A Small Number / Few Had Similar Problems -- Additionally, I Have A Laying Hen That Continues To Spend It's Life In The Chicken House, Hoping That Her Clutch Will Hatch -- Even Though I No Longer Have An Adult Rooster. Momma Hen Is A Sweet Heart, And I Am Proud Of Her For Trying Her Best -- I Eagerly Await The Day When I Can Show Her A Whole Flock Of Young Chicks -- Again I Want To Thank All Of The People Here, And 'BACKYARD CHICKENS' For Making This A Wonderful Forum For People Like Ourselves . . . BIG THANKS !

I Am Having Much Difficulty In Finding Medicated Non-Soy Chicken Feed -- The One (1) Place I Found Online, No Longer Is Available.
Concerned With Internal Tumors, I Am Hoping I Can Find Some Soon.
