Rhode Island Reds roosters-Tell me What i need to know

I was cursed with a young Rhode Island red cockerel is 3 months old.Very laid back.

I have had this breed ONCE,they were terrible birds.Also I have heard many things about aggression in roosters,and them picking on other birds.

I read up on the weight,and they are very large chickens,I was amazed...tell me more.I would like to know about the roosters since I have had the hens before.

You might need to know that you do not now have a RIR cockerel and you might actually never had one. Sounds more like you have what is commonly foisted off on folks by most hatcheries...more accurately known as Production Reds.
