New to raising chick’s, my RIR’s are 27days old and are full of life. Would like to know when to add or start them on regular feed and when can I give them treats, like dried mealworms?

Congrats on your first batch of chicks.

What do you mean by regular feed?

Are they eating chick/starter feed now?
They can have a few mealworms already, just be sure to provide grit if you offer anything besides chick/starter feed.

Be careful with the meal worms. Too many make stinky poops. Stinky.

I used Chick starter for a month. Then flock raiser. Layer formula if you want when they start laying. Search this site. Lots of information. That's how I learned so much. And Kiki is real smart too. Lots of people to help.

27 days - are they still in the brooder or out in the coop now. Depending where you live, they could be either.
