I was told to find my state page and try here so hopefully I'm in the right place!

I need to rehome my 6 month old olive egger rooster. Very handsome, but my kids are afraid of him. We hand raised him from day old chick so would love for him to be kept as pet or breeding purposes only.

Are you still looking for a home for him? I are also looking to rehome our rooster and was considering a farm that takes roosters in Harrisville, RI. It's called The Seven Acre Wood farm; they don't have a website but they do have a Facebook page.

I am looking to add two heritage breed Barred Plymouth Rock pullets to my mostly retired small flock. I would prefer to purchase them from a farm that vaccinates their chicks, rather than feed store or hatchery due to quality and order minimums. I am located near the Massachusetts and Connecticut border and will be posting there as well. Is anyone aware of a breeder that sells pullets like this? Also, I can only keep hens, so I will not be able to take or keep any bird that turns out to be a rooster.

Are you possibly looking to rehome 2 of your older flock?
I am in MA and looking for 2 older hens, not for eggs but for just having them hang out. I miss not having hens around, I got rid of mine a few years ago
