I know rhubarb leaves are poisonous, due to high levels of oxalic acid. Are they deadly to chickens? We had a huge windstorm yesterday, and my new rhubarb start fell off the porch, into the chicken run. Of course, they promptly ate every leaf on it. They are all still roaming around today. They seem okay. Do I need to worry? What in heaven's name do you do when chickens eat something that isn't good for them? I suspect they can't vomit. Should I keep activated charcoal on hand? Thanks for any info anyone can give. Dawn in Washington.
