I figure StarrNico's answer is right eh? The Liar will point to the truth teller's village, lying SOB that he is, and the truth teller will point to the truth teller's village. So off down that road you will go. I remember a different solution to the original version of this I heard, but I think Starr's is more elegant!

The answer was this but you guys basically figured it out. Answer The man must s ask the stranger the path back to his own village. If he was from village of truths, he takes him there. Even if he is from the village of liars, he will still take him to the village of truths.
