I ordered 9 chicks from their coming in April. the light gets annoying though as I have it in my room cant wait to shove the little buggers outside.

Not to be rude or anything, but I've seen at least two different threads about how much you want chickens; on each thread excellent advice was given, I don't think it's necessary to keep renewing the subject. I know how it feels to not be allowed to have chickens, but the bible says clearly: "Blessings to those who wait," and in life, I've found that the bible is like a field guide. Heed it's advice!
Don't give up hope. It's been two years I know; but I've waited eight years for a horse and now am saving up, even if it takes me till I'm twenty I WILL get a horse. I wish you chickens!

You may have been waiting two years for your poultry this far, but you will get your poultry someday. It could be another year, or another 3 years from now. I have been wanting dairy goats for a long time and I am still waiting. I may not get them this year, next year or 5 years from now. But right now I am saving up and getting prepared for the day that I do own them. And I know that it is worth the wait. Just be patient. You will get chickens someday.

I have horses right now because my dad loves them as well and pays for their bills. i know when I move out of their house, I will not be able to afford my own horse for quite awhile until I am settled in life. I know that it will be painful to go so long without a horse, but I also know the day I get one, it will be so much more worth it!

I can assure you that you are not the only one who wants chickens so bad. At least you are allowed to have them where you live. Many people I know want to have chickens just as bad as you do, but cannot due to ordinances in your town. The best you can do right now is appreciate the animals you have right now and know that you have a long life ahead of you to get chickens some day!
