My name is Rik, and I'm new to chickens, got my 3 pullets today.

They are all hybrids, one is a light Sussex, one is a black Sussex, and a golden rock.

I have found BackYardChickens.com in a random on line search looking for communities of chickens lovers.

I live in London and have a small garden, I am very interested in greener ways of living and caring for animals.

I am a teacher and only have another pet, a 8 month old cat called Eddie

Looking forward to learn more about chickens and share my experiences with my trio.
