Congrats to everyone. I do have one question (and i too am addicted and just bought my 1st bator) I've noticed that alot of you are from states that will soon be cold, windy snowy, icey and all the winter nasties, What will you be doing with your little chickies? How do you acculmate them to your coop?

Ours stay in the house with heat lamps until they are big enough to handle the outside temps. As it heads further into fall, that gets longer than normal.

Mine also stay in the house until they are old enough to go to the outside brooder...usually by the time they have been flying out of the box for a week or two
