Hi,

I wanted to had my ring teals in my pond in the tropical greenhouse but I have a red eared turtle living in the pond and was wondering if theres any danger.

Thanks for your help.

Ringed teals might eat small small fish, snails or even shrimps but a turtle about 6 inch in diameter would be to ig for them.

. I personally wouldn't because turtles have been known to chomp on ducks' webbed feet.

Is that a red-eared slider? I live near a lake that's full of them and I haven't seen any problem between them and adult ducks, but that's with a really large lake, so I can't say if it would be a problem with a small pond. I wouldn't put the turtle around ducklings or small ducks because the turtles will eat or injure them, especially with a younger turtle which is more carnivorous than an older one. I agree with Amiga that the water might get too dirty for the turtle if the pond is small.
