Ringneck lifespan?

we've always had them in freezer camp before 2 years

I have some that are 4 or 5 and one that I'm not sure how old he is because the people who owned him before had him for quite a while, and that was a few years ago.

. I know in the wild they don't live long, but in captivity they should live a good while.
 
In one of my game bird books it said 2 years on average regardless of being wild or captive. I've had some live longer and some live around that old, but most are released before then.
 
2 years only average, gee, I guess mine are all elderly then,

. My 4 year old hen is still a laying machine...... perhaps they know I'm not going to eat them so they are less stressed, there fore live longer.....
