Ringneck pheasant breeding season

Would it work with a chicken rooster and pheasant hens

I have 2 little ringneck pheasants but they act as if we are harassing them if we even walk past them. How do I calm them down and be able to keep them

It can be difficult with ringneck pheasants……the best way I’ve found to calm them down is treats. If you start working with them early sometimes you can get them to take treats from your hand but most just tolerate you from a distance.

Next year I’m going to try chicken roosters on pheasant hens.
