First-timer here. I rinsed off guinea eggs with water and/or a wet paper towel. I read the guidance here that you need clean eggs. I didn't read until today that you should not wash off the bloom. Oops! Should I toss them and start over?

For older eggs in the nest, when do I toss them? Sniff test every couple of days? I'm leaving eggs so the hens keep laying in nests they've made in the coop instead of venturing off into the brush.

I am a first-time hoping to hatch guinea eggs earlier in the summer than guineas naturally set. I purchased the Nurture Right that holds 22 eggs. Any advice welcome.

I think you’ll be fine to incubate. I’ve incubated wet sweaty eggs and duck and geese eggs stay wet for the most part with mama moving and rubbing against them. I’d try it before I just threw them away.

Oops, sorry I missed that you were going to hatch them! I would try anyway and hope things go well--just watch them for bacterial growth.
