I have one Rio Grande wild Tom and he is desperate for a female. So I have decided to get his some females. My question is I do not know if the hens will stay on my property or not?? I have 4 and a half acres of good hardwood which Giligan(Tom) loves plus my neighbors have a nice big pasture he struts around in. So I was wondering how many turkeys to get and where is the best place to get them from?? I got Giligan from a friend, but I would like to get them from a hatchery or breeder. Anybody have any advice?? Oh and I would like to get Rio Grande Hens, because there beautiful.
