He was a beautiful rooster! Very unique looking. At the very least, I would have taken his body over for the neighbor to see. I've got a neighbor too who lets his dog run loose. It's so annoying. Their dog came clear into my back yard, which is quite a distance away, and grabbed one of my hens. Well, the neighbor's wife heard me yelling and she came running. Luckily, their dog didn't kill my hen, but I was sure to show her the pile of feathers that dog pulled out of my hen. She promised to keep him locked up. Her husband is another matter. He lets him run and I've chased him out of our yard multiple times. I know it's not the dog's fault, but I'm going to shoot him if he comes over again.
