one of our 2 beloved jumbo Pekins was taken by a fox last night it got into the pen and took her. She was one of 2 rescued sisters and was only about 2 years old her sister daisy is our coyote survivor and it breaks my heart to think we could save her sister from a coyote but couldn't save her from a fox. We are trying to get a friend for her sister asap but in the meantime, daisy will be living with our guinea hens I miss daffy terribly and feel such regret since we had left a door open and wish we could have done something for her.

Daffy was clearly well loved and will be missed by you and Daisy. I know how absolutely awful it feels to forget to close a door that lets in a killer predator. I lost three of my first four hens that way.
