RIP dear chickens

Today we came home to our Doxie running around in the livingroom. I heard him before I even opened the door and knew what I would find when I unlocked it. Somehow he managed to break out of his crate along with our American Bulldog. and while we were gone they killed Farmer, Henny Penny, Big Fat Chicken and Carmilla.
I was hoping BFC was okay since he was in a crate but he didn't make it. We never found Henny Penny but we know what happened to her.
We are still trying to clean blood out of the carpet. We went to Walmart ot get some Oxyclean and I made the mistake of passing by the meat section. As soon as I saw the chickens I lost it. It was pretty embarrassing but I guess I don't really care.
Now they get to use their wings for what they were meant for, flying.

i'm sorry that happened hooligan. it's terrible. my wife keeps telling me when our dogs get hold of our cats, they can't help it it's just their natural instincts.

Im so sorry to read this, I hope the pain heals really soon for you.
Yet another sad dog attack story.
I dont sell any chooks or ducks to dog owners now unless im sure they are absolutely safe.
Its way too sad to comprehend this and all the other attacks on our feathered friends.
