Thank you to everyone for your kind words. I miss them so much but not having Carmilla here makes the house feel so empty. Part of me has thought about bringing in one of the other chickens to keep me company but they like being with their chicken friends and she never did.
Maybe someday I will find another chick that needs me as much as Carm did.
