RIP, Ginger 2010-2012

We lost our first chicken today. My daughter accidentally slammed the coop door on poor little Ginger. We rushed her to the vet, but within 15 minutes she was gone. She must have been bleeding internally.

We feel awful. I can't believe she's really gone.
