RIP Michael Crichton

He died in the Congo of the Andromeda Strain, carried by velociraptors; they couldn't get him to the ER in time.

He wrote some great stuff. Jurassic Park was really scary to me, mostly because of the completely amoral scientists who had little real world knowledge.

With all the election coverage, I missed that he had died.

Time to dig out his books and re-read a few of them.

A sad loss, not only was he a very good writer and scientist, he was outspoken concerning the fraud behind global warming.

Birch Run Farm beat me to it. Crichton was not only a great writer, but a great intellect.

In my research on the whole "global warming" thing, I found only a couple minds who put out thoughtful, fact-based, cohesive books on the subject - Michael Crichton and Bjorn Lomborg.

R.I.P., Mr. Crichton.
